It’s been over a year since I played so going off of memory.
I think it was 3rd person? Cant quite remember that one. That’s more of a personal preference I cant stand 3rd person views.
It had freakishly accurate enemies who could see across the map. Rainbow Six Vegas kinda had the same problem. I don’t mind a challenge but it feels like a flaw when enemies have too much awareness.
I don’t think that the aggro was right. The aggro factor with flanking is what really sold me on the game in theory. But I was expecting something more like Brothers in Arms style flanking and multiple paths then what I got. It felt more arcadey.
It seemed to get old kinda quick. The style of play got a little repetitive after a while.
I was really hyped for the game and the disappointment may have been too high of expectations. I think I was wishing for a different style of game than was presented.
Oh. I didn’t have any trouble with any of the things you are saying. The enemy was accurate, sure, but I had fun killing them anyway.
I don’t know, it’s one of the games I really really love. It’s so rare there are games he and I can actually play together, instead of hotseat or some sort of excuse for coplay, like in Fable II.
Thanks for answering, though. The only thing I really wished is that it had some “freeplay”, where you just have a map and enemies and the two of you have to stalk them. But the missions work.
My wife likes to sing and I like a challenge, so we bought the game to spend time together. We love it. We designed our band (Day-Glo Ninja) and logo and characters and we play the songs together. It’s a hoot.
Agree 100%. I’m having a great time playing this one with my husband. The AI for the other toons is fabulous – they don’t do stupid crap like run off and alert mobs for the most part. We’ve only played it as offline coop since we don’t have an internet connection in the living room, but it’s still great fun.
