Good espionage thrillers

Some of Alastair Maclean’s work revolves around espionage or police work. I always liked Ice Station Zebra (the book - the movie bares virtually no resemblance to it) and some of the short stories in “The Lonely Sea” are espionage based.

He did some stuff I really liked, but he starts doing badly with The Way to Dusty Death.
