I get why the cops don’t want to charge the hired killer–he didn’t kill/attempt to kill anyone. But how do we know that A) he didn’t just negotiate a better deal with Mamma–wouldn’t that be illegal? or B) he and Mamma are in cahoots to get rid of daddy?
