Good Morning Anthracite

Can we get back to talking about coal?

I have fond memories of sitting by the fireplace loaded up with a little (didn’t need a lot, and I know now why) West Virginia anthracite my father threw on top of some wood coals because plain kindling wouldn’t get it started. Not TOO close to the fireplace. That stuff burns HOT! An even sort of heat, like the whole fireplace was the same temperature.

So it’s unlike that Anthracite was what I got in my stocking yesterday?

Yeah, I tried to hit it, but got 999,999.
Then I panicked and tried to repost too soon and got blocked. Ended with 1,000,001. The story of my life.

 Where’s my manners!
