# “Good morning, guys” — is using ‘guys’ appropriate? Because y’all are female and male. What say we?

In the OP I wasn’t stating that it _had_ changed to become gender specific. I was simply wondering if it did or was starting to. And I wonder that because in some ways people are becoming more sensitive.
