**Laserkitty** says [Ed Gein](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0230169/) and **Monster**.
Monster I can understand but I thought Ed Gein was pretty tame.

Of course, I’m sick enough to be waiting for AL FISH!
Am I a cold hearted bastard to find that Futurama epsiode so horribly overrated and trite? I mean come on! That’s the oldest story of dog loyalty ever. I grew up near a town with that same story (apparently there’s also a town in Japan with the exact same story.) The dog waited at the train station for years for hsi master to return…and he never did. Boo.. hoo.
Nope. I was pressured into watching it on the grounds that it’s _so_ moving, and I thought it was crap too. Admittedly I’m not a dog person, or even a **Futurama** person, but…bor-ing!

I own House of Sand and Fog and I can watch it repeatedly but just because the performances are so great. I think it helped that I had read the book first and so I was emotionally prepared for the ending. Still cried when I saw it though. Great great movie.

I can’t watch American Psycho again - I get what it’s about but it just sickens me to see it in all its explicit glory.

Also Mulholland Drive. Although I am still not convinced that one was worth watching once so maybe it doesn’t count.

That’s not what’s so goddamn sad about the story.

It’s that Fry chooses not to bring back the dog because he doesn’t know the dog spent its entire life waiting for him. I can’t speak for everyone else, but just thinking about it makes me want to punch random things, which usually means I’m terribly sad. It’s the pointless, casual tragedy of the barely missed chance.

**Jacob’s Ladder**. Way too disturbing.

**Very Bad Things**. Not a particularly great movie, but really got underneath my skin for some reason.

Also -

[Wings of Honneamise (aka Royal Space Force)](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093207/)

Kinda like an anime, alternate-history, _The Right Stuff._ Sorta.

_A.I._- a depressing, awful movie. I don’t go to the movies to feel depressed. I can feel miserable sitting at home or going to work, so I don’t need a movie to make me feel unhappy about things.

_The Lord Of The Rings_- I sat through the first one to see what all the hype was about. Boring, over-hyped, self-indulgent, pretentious crap.

_Bowling For Columbine_ I watched it once to see what it was all about, but I really don’t see myself getting anything out of a subsequent viewing, so I haven’t bothered (nor do I intend to).

_Never Say Never Again_- A (not very good) remake of _Thunderball_. Interesting to see once for comparison (and I have the DVD), but not something I can see myself watching again anytime soon.

I do, however, consider _Fight Club_ and _A Clockwork Orange_ to be two of my favourite movies, and have seen them both numerous times. I never realised people were so affected by either of those films, though…

Full Metal Jacket.
The Green Mile.

Both great films but I wouldn’t watch them again for some reason
