Will the movie Good Omens ever be made? I’m pretty doubtful, but maybe somebody out there has heard something new. Supposedly Gilliam was going to start on it after he finished Don Quixote, and since that’s dead… ---

According to Gilliam, funding has all but fallen through. It’s not dead, it’s on life support, as his metaphor went. Really quite a shame… ☹ ---

Would it be complete heresy if I said I’d like to see it made with Clooney as Crowley? If only because he seems to be able to get anything made. Dammit, now I’m casting in my head. ---

If they ever make the movie, I really hope they include the part where the little busybody man (don’t remember his name) meets the entire cast on their way to the nuclear plant. He’d be walking his dog, thinking about all the letters to the editor he was going to be writing over the most trivial complaints, when one or more of the cast members would show up and ask him for directions. I particularly want to see the scene where Crowley pulls up in his burning mazeratti and calmly asks him the way to the nuclear plant. ---

Nah, you need somebody failry effete and dithering to play Aziraphale, so that would be Hugh Grant. Crowley should be played by someone drop dead sexy but with an undertone of goofiness, so I’d choose Colin Farrell. Death would have to be CGI and voiced by James Earl Jones. ---
