Joe Schwarcz has a number of books full of science essays. Reading some of them often makes me do more research on the topic being discussed. Great reading for those long airplane flights. He also has some excellent YouTube videos (e.g. - a 4-minute video on “The Banana”). In his videos, you will often notice many rubber/plastic ducks. He collects these, due to all the “quacks” out there.
