Where could I find info about the average food and utility prices for various areas in California?

It doesn’t go into incredible detail, but you might try [Best Places](http://www.bestplaces.net/Default.aspx). If you click on “Cost of Living” (top of the page), they’ll walk you through a salary comparison between the city you live in now, and the one in which you might be living. This will include utilities and food, but it won’t give much detail about either.

Thanks, I found this site ([http://www.ers.usda.gov/briefing/consumption/Expenditures.htm](http://www.ers.usda.gov/briefing/consumption/Expenditures.htm)) whih has enough data for the report I’m working on, but I’m hoping for something a bit less country-wide, if possible.
