> I don’t remember if it’s on the [Final Destination] DVD or not, but this is how the first movie was originally supposed to end. Before Ali Larter left Devon Sawa in the cabin, there’s a cut scene of them having wild monkey sex. He ends up knocking her up and the presence of this child that shouldn’t be is what shuts off the out-of-control power cable at the end.

Thanks. I see the filmmakers at least considered and shot a scene with my proposed scenario beforehand even though it didn’t make the final cut (perhaps the sex scene was cut for rating purposes).

To paraphrase Morbo, in what universe is “The Last Picture Show” mediocre?

For mediocre you need something like “Five Easy Pieces,” which contained the hilarious scenes with Helena Kallianiotes and Toni Basil as two hitchhikers on their way to Alaska.

And he doesn’t get along very well with Nick Van Owen. Somewhere, Warren Zevon is smiling.

_The Curse of the Dragon Queen_ has a terrific chase scene.

**Jim’s Son** , you’re allowed to disagree with other people; you’re not allowed to insult them. Knock it off.

> The scene is probably the most realistic depiction of relationship discord I’ve ever seen on screen, and does a great job of portraying how a seemingly petty argument can escalate into a full fledged, emotionally scarring scream fest.

> The premise really was a great one, but the writers failed to build a very interesting movie around it, and the film pretty much runs out of steam after that point.

I think if I was going to pick one redeeming scene from The Break-Up, it would be the Old 97s concert.

Bill Murray’s Hunter S. Thompson in Where The Buffalo Roam. Skip the first 30 minutes (hospital and courtroom scenes).

I thought the **Lemony Snickett** movie with Jim Carey was mediocre at best. But the end credits were inspired! I could watch them over and over. I mean, I _could_, but every time I find a YouTube version it gets pulled shortly thereafter.

> I saw _Prometheus_ last week and I think it fits here. Not a bad movie, but the idiotic characters and bland acting really killed it for me. I will say one thing about it though, the surgery scene was one of the most intense and disturbing things I have ever seen. Now that’s saying something coming from me, I’ve sat through _Salo_, _Black Sun_, _A Serbian Film_, and many other disgusting and disturbing films. I’ve been grossed out, I’ve wanted to shut movies off and bleach my brain, but never have I experienced anything like that. Once that scene started I felt almost ill, and it didn’t pass until the scene was well over. That scene got to me in a way that nothing ever has before, and I doubt ever will again. Forget everything else about that movie, that scene makes up for it all.

I also thought that David absolutely redeemed every scene that he was in. I particularly like the scene where he feeds Love Interest Scientist Guy the alien-goo-spiked champagne; with a very calm, quiet, understated few words, David makes it perfectly clear exactly what he thinks of his creators, and why: They think absolutely nothing of him.

I really wanted David to be the only survivor of the movie - I consider him the only sympathetic character.

Circle Of Iron AKA Silent Flute

WOW says I, a post apocalyptic sci fi/kung fu hybrid, how did I never hear of this?!

Well because it is horrible thats why, horribly dated 70s fashions and hair(the male star looks like he belongs on a porn set) atrocious dialog, surreal attempts at being arty, I’m still not sure if the “apes” were supposed to be real apes or a gang in makeup?

But all that said the locations it was shot in are gorgeous, just beautiful deserts and canyons. And there are a few really cool scenes like the dream where he faces death.

Greatest scene in a movie. Only thing that would have made it better was if it was real.
