# Good ways for a woman to "pick up" a guy

Well, damn, what am I gonna sacrifice to the elder gods now?! They don’t like fruit, you know. Goes right through 'em.

Oh, I mean… _Curses_! Once again, you’ve foiled my evil plot, **Slortar**!

On topic, I am notorious for being clueless when someone is flirting with me. Friends have had to point it out to me on more than one occasion. I think this is why I don’t get asked out more. I have a friendly, flirty personality, so think you’re just being friendly and flirty back and don’t take you seriously; you get mixed signals and aren’t sure where you stand.

It doesn’t help that the online (SDMB, at least) denizen, when attempting to access your listed webpage, is prompted for a login and password:)

Stupid work firewall. I have a long, involved tale of heartbreak and woe about how we had to dump our cable company and are trying to get DSL, but for now, I have no access from home.
