Alright, so I just got my first electric drum set, and I’m learning to play. Today is, officially, day two. I’m looking into some of the songs I like (“Seed of Memory”, some stuff by Janis, “Gold Lion”, etc. etc.), but I’m having a rather difficult time finding the drum parts for these songs. This was very surprising, considering the _large_ amount of info readily available on the guitar and bass parts for these songs. Hence the question:

What’s a good resource for finding the drum parts to songs?

Thanks,

I think your problem here may be that “drummers” don’t read music.

I haven’t done this sort of thing in a long time, but in high school, I remember that Modern Drummer magazine regularly had charts for popular tunes. There was at least one chart every month – rock, jazz, country, whatever. Maybe look there.
