Pull off mitten & still have thin liner on for when dexterity is needed. I have a pair of [LectraMitts](https://www.turtlefur.com/products/lectra-mitt-battery-heated-mittens) but I never put batteries in them as they’re warm enough w/o the extra heat. ---

C E Schmidt workwear; my current winter pair are CES98100/XLBK and I snagged them a few years back at Tractor Supply. They keep my hands warmer on the motorcycle (temp of 20 plus say 70mph) than the usual brand snowmobile and ski gloves AND they still allow me to pick up and handle things or drive a car in complete comfort. Going by past experience I expect to get about 5-15 years use out of them. You can joke all you want about TSC being for people too hillbilly for Walmart but farmers demand stuff that lasts and works and the brand has been around for ages. So give them a thought. ---

For me it’s a good set of winter motorcycle gloves. They’re designed to withstand sub-freezing temperatures plus 70mph wind chill. ---
