Six months to a year is plenty of time to get the country into all kinds of horrific warmongering disasters – especially in the runup to the midterms, wherein we will be exhorted to stand united behind our heroic War President.

Remember, Trump got the best reviews of his Presidency from the media and the punditry when he bombed that deserted airfield in Syria. It was described as the day Trump proved he was Presidential material. Trump certainly hasn’t forgotten that.

The best way I can think of to cast this in a positive light is to assume Trump is putting together a posture for his meeting with North Korea. The line is, “You want to talk? Ok, let’s talk. But notice that I have a hawk on my left shoulder, and a hawk on my right shoulder. There in the corner is Mad Dog Mattis, waiting for the order. Disarm or we bomb you.”

Maybe it will be enough to convince Kim Jun Un to back down. I know from where I sit, it looks like Trump just might follow through with the military threat.

There is NO WAY IN HELL that Trump has the ability to think this strategically. He just wants someone whose mustache will tickle his ass nicely while it’s being licked clean.

He finally realizes that he can’t convince these people that he’s right, and that he just needs to replace whoever disagrees with him.

So hypothetically, pretend that someone other than Trump were following the “chaos school of management”. Is this an oxymoron or are there industries or use cases where this would actually not end in disaster?
