I don’t want no babies, but here’s proof of my redheadedness. It’s actually brighter than that; the filter on the picture toned it down a little. Did I say I was _really_ white or what? :eek: ---

My mother was a redhead, but it seems to have passed over the rest of the family except for one of my nieces. I’ve always thought of my hair as brown, but I recently had a friend tell me that it has some faint red highlights, so I may be carrying the recessive redhead gene. In light of this, I will gladly offer my services to any Doper redheads who wish to pass this on to the next generation. ---

When I was in high school I dated a redhead. We were making out in the back seat of my car and I had just discovered that she was a “natural”. I’m a brunette with some recessive redhead going on. Dark brown hair + enough sunlight = lots and lots of red highlights. It runs in the family, though; many of my relatives on my mom’s side have red or reddish hair, and my blonde brother has a red beard when it grows out. Everyone seems to have a little bit of red hinting at an emergence on my mom’s side, but bright redheads are uncommon. Strangely enough, on the other side of the family, we have dark brown and white blonde as the major hair colors. ---
