Or at least if the political side is too aggravating, we can always focus on trivia, music, sports, etc. threads. And FWIW though I have to agree with \*\*MrDibble \*\*that most Americans have no idea what a real Far Left even looks like, for libertarians it’s more of a challenge since from their POV both liberals and conservatives in the USA are happily statist. ---

I looked them up (again) and it seems that they used to be a Lefty organisation, then somehow the title got co-opted by the Right (a hundred years ago). Also, I think sometimes I conflate Liberal and Libertarian. So, no wonder I’m none-the-wiser. It’s like an offshoot sect.
