Our cat was getting old and very sick, and it was time for his final vet visit today. I miss his four little white paws and three-coloured nose. I miss him being there, wanting attention. I miss his cute little meow and the other cute noises he made. For the first time ever, I am without a cat. Goodbye, kitty. You were the cutest, sweetest cat, and I love you and miss you so much. ---

It’s never a good day for something like this. Hugs to you. My “millennium kitty”, who got a thorough vet check a couple weeks ago because he seemed to be losing weight, just finished nuzzling me. He did lose a few ounces, but his labs were normal and my vet said he’s a very healthy 16-or-so-year-old feline. 🆒 ---

Emily- I’m so sorry. I just went through this earlier in the week with my cat, Lucia, and know what you’ve been going through to come to the decision and see it to the end. It still feels strange that she’s not here anymore. Hugs. ---
