I know **Idle** on FB. He is a treasured soul, IMO. A no-bullshit, honest person.
Whoever the moderator was who read a complaint about him seems to have no idea the type of poster the complainant was. That moderator should ban the complainant and apologize to IT.

No need for PMs. The backstory isn’t a secret. It’s described in [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=842717) Pit thread. Skip to Post #55 if you want to get to the meat of the issue. **Ed Zotti** let him go because of posts made on a different messsage board that discussed SDMB issues. He was alerted to the posts because of one complaint.
