I thought [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HasaQvHCv4w) had long been acknowledged as the most unintentionally “goofiest” dancing by a couple of admired and respected rock and rollers (Mick Jagger & David Bowie) ---

I wasn’t very familiar with Christopher Walken when I first saw that video in the days, but he was the creepy guy from “Pulp Fiction” that had kept a goddamn watch in his ass for years, and now he is dancing like Baryshnikov to a Fatboy Slim song. Mind blown. This isn’t goofy at all. The guy could (can) dance better than almost anyone else. ---

The best factoid about that clip is the Alex, the drummer, seems to show the worst sense of rhythm in the entire band. ---

I listen to a lot of punk, watch a lot of punk videos, go to a lot of punk shows…and I feel like a traitor when I say that skanking will always look a little silly to me. I also can’t do it because I’m uncoordinated af so take that for what it’s worth. It might just be jealousy. ---
