# Google Chrome stopped Working

I needed to reboot my laptop, and I think I accidentally clicked something on Chrome when I closed it. I have no idea what it could have been.

Anyways, after re-booting, google chrome loads up but it won’t connect to any websites.

I can connect with websites via Internet Explorer, but I much prefer Chrome.

I get this message:

The webpage at http://www.google.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

```

When i click the hyperink in the error message I get this:

```auto

Below is the original error message

Error 10 (net::ERR_ACCESS_DENIED): Unknown error.

```

thanks **chambraigne** , that was indeed the problem. It is a good thing that I didn’t call up my isp complaining about another outage.
