# Google Crawl

I’ve been keeping a mental log for the last couple of days. I am wondering whether the Google thread crawl occurs every two hours. I’ve noticed that the boards tend to go down for about five minutes at the top of the even (EDT) hours. My guess is that Google is running it’s crawl at the time resulting in a DOS attack-like situation and giving **Otto** a fit of the f-bombs in the pit.

I’ll try to remember to create a log tomorrow with actual data.

Could be; we get spidered for a while and then it goes away, it’s intermittent.
