It’s like a tighter, cleaner version of Facebook with some good ideas from Twitter thrown in. Hopefully it will become the dominant social networking hub. But if you’re not really using Facebook or Twitter now, you’re not going to get much out of it until most of your friends are there. ---

Hay everyone! I’m not terribly excited about this development, but I’d better get in while I can (I at least got in Gmail early enough to get my preferred email address, I was late to the Twitter party :/) jgabbard is my gmail address, if anyone is able to send out invites.
