The - still works, and the + is ignored. It’d been the same if you searched ’ groundhog day murray’

It’s the subject of many posts online… most of which are negative. [Google Product Forums](http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/websearch/3oIWbew9xdE%5B1-25%5D) or [Google Product Forums](http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/websearch/3oIWbew9xdE/ReLx2nis1B0J) for example.

The + no longer works, but you can get exactly the same functionality by enclosing the word in quote marks.

Old: “groundhog day” +murray
New: “groundhog day” “murray”

One extra character is not a big deal…

I’d love to find out something has very recently changed, but it’s crazy to me that there’s no good way to attach files in your Drive account to a Gmail, short of sharing the file or downloading it and attaching it.

I think the way they want you to do it is to share the file from drive.

…which I mentioned, and is dumb. Try convincing an insurance rep to jump through the extra hoops to access a claim form as opposed to sending them an attachment directly.

Or how’s about this- sending out a resume. It’s a stupid extra hurdle, and impedes user experience. And I say this as a fan of Google in general, especially Android.

ETA- your suggestion isn’t dumb, Google is. Sorry if that came off wrong.
