Lord you’re gone for half a day and a thread gets up to 7 pages?! **hardy** , have i ever said I didn’t want attention? Didn’t think that this was this thread was about, but if you want to drag in the bikini pic…hell yes I posted it. I am DAMN proud of myself. I work hard at that! Another reason for posting it was, if someone makes assertions on a mesage board that they are attractive and whatnot, it could easily be construed as a big fat lie…I proved it was not with that. I mean shit, you didn’t even mention my emailed nekkid photos or my cat painting thread :). Vain? Oh yes! With respect to this thread, you might notice I didn’t weigh in on either side. I think that any of **jar’s** arguments are stronger without you chiming in with your sycophantic shmuck. As far as disagreeing with **jar** on threads, you might notice I didn’t weigh-in anywhere here. I left her cop thread alone. In the amzing-disappearing thread, I was VERY supportive of jar. I did do pretty much the same thing **jar** did in this thread to her in one thread. Mind you I didn’t start that thread. I don’t go out of my way to disagree with her. On a few threads, yes, but since the ‘calling out’ of jar by another poster, I think I’ve been pretty darned supportive–occasionaly disagree but in a polite way with her. So, frankly this is a ridiculous propsition on your part. I mean do you want me to go dig up threads where you stick your nose up \*\*jar’sp/b] ass? I could, but I don’t think you want me to 🙂 ---

Eh, I’ll have to agree with DDG here me thinks. I pretty much only lurk in these forums now, partially because of people like jarbaby that insisted on bringing up unwritten rules and allowing-- check that… _ensuring_ a newbie flounders in new surroundings. One would have to question your (jarbabyj’s) motive anyway. I mean you must have spent a great deal of time formulating your post… and for what end? So you can point out how DDG isn’t as helpful as you would like? DDG must use a “gimmick”? Thanks for doing everyone a favor and bring this out in public. Go back to lurking Perm. If you want to accuse someone of “ensuring” that another post flounders, I’m afraid you’ll have to refer us to an actual example. Does jarbaby come into the home of said poster and clear their DNS settings? And what is wrong with spending time formulating a post? Good. That’s what the Pit is for. If there’s anywhere where someone can overreact (if that’s what happened), then it is here. If I hadn’t picked this damn thread up on page five I might have had more to say, but such as it is there’s no point to it, and it hasn’t changed my opinion of anyone (such that I have, which isn’t much). Who wants to be pitted? I don’t mean the silly “so and so is a nazi” threads that get started as some kind of joke, but honest-to-god pit threads… which I think this OP qualifies as. It was far more than just some sort of constructive criticism. There was some constructive criticism there, I don’t think one can say otherwise, but that wasn’t the totality of it. IMO **DDG** was well within her bounds to fly off the handle, and **jarbabyj** was also well within her bounds for stating the OP as she did. It is a god damn pit thread attacking another poster for the way they post… what, is that supposed to make warm fuzzies happen? I don’t think so. It just seems to me that this has been building for too long. The reactions of a lot of posters here make it seem like they’ve bottled this up for a while. IMO, **DDG** ’s reaction was no more suspect than the people who crawled out to make their shots at her. Where have they been all this time? If it was so damned irritating that she is who she is on the boards I think something should have been said sooner. We’ve got a good board filled with intelligent people. They should try to work these issues out reasonably before it gets to this point. If they get to this point, I think it is as much of a travesty to then get mad at someone reacting to a flaming.
