Google has announced that they are putting up a 30 million dollar prize to the first team that can land a lunar rover capable of moving 500 meters and transmitting images and data back. This ought to produce some interesting results!

Anyone who can accomplish this for much under $30 million deserves serious praise.

Yes but how much publicity and bussiness would company X get being the first non gov people to send something to the moon?
