Does there happen to be a single parseable copy of the data that Mapquest uses to do their whole map and driving directions system? All the information is there and publicly available, but really hard to use as actual input.

They all buy that information from other companies ([NavTeq](http://www.navteq.com/) is one), so they presumably can’t provide it to anyone free of charge, in raw data form.

The data from Google maps is available to developers. Check out [this site](http://www.paulrademacher.com/housing/) for a sample application.
