one thing generally unsaid in an abortion debate – I assert that most women will, eventually, have approximately the same number of children whether or not they had one or more abortions at some point.

In other words, if one is aborted, that provides an opportunity for another one to be born.

anyone who thinks a person shouldn’t control when and under what circumstances to have a child should consider how many perfectly good potential human beings are disposed of on a monthly basis just because the egg wasn’t fertilized. don’t you want to do something about that waste of humanity?

So, given that it’s Republicans suggesting this tactic in the first place, are there any actual abortion jokes of Republican origin out there?

> …

Ok, we have the germ of an idea for a joke here.

“How are abortions like ice cream?”
“Uh, I dunno.”
“Ok, how are abortions like strawberry ice cream?”
“Well, they look pretty much the same if you pour the aborted fetus in milk.”

Eh, I got nuthin’.

I believe the 50/50 thing is a misunderstanding of a medical fact, based on technical terminology.
Half of all pregnancies spontaneously miscarry, usually quite early. In medical terms, miscarriage is called abortion.

So yes, half of all pregnancies end in abortion.
But no, half of all pregnancies are **not** terminated by human intervention.

Edit- same thing was posted above, I’m late to the party. ☹

If I had to guess, the “humor” would be in the form of making fun of the pro-choice position, not about abortion itself, since that’s a sacred topic. Stuff like t-shirts saying “Yo Mama didn’t have no abortion.” Or a picture of a well-developed fetus saying “Looks like a tumor to me!” or stuff like that.

In other words, the same exact stuff they already do, but instead of going for outrage or tragedy, they go with “humorous” sayings.

Ok

> What I said, quite plainly, is that\*\* no Democrat has the balls, nor ovaries, to go on TV and actually say what you did,\*\* even though there are more than just a “handful” of Democrats who actually believe this.

There, happy?

But perhaps your definition of homogenous is different from the actual correct definition. I’ll help you out: in order for you to correct assert that you didn’t lump all Democrats into one, would you kindly say that some Democrats have the balls do say what I said, or that some don’t have the same stance I do? Just admit that, and you’re in the clear.

> [@Omg\_a\_Black\_Conservative](#):
>
> But since we’re on this topic, then I’d like to point out the absolute irony in your post, considering how much time Democrats spent, and still spend, trying to paint every last conservative/Republican as believing the exact same thing based on what, say, Akin said. Guess that must make Democrats narrow minded, right? …Right? Right???

Given the uniformity of abortion laws being proposed and, in some cases, passed with the GOP in charge, it is much safer position to claim that conservatives are more likely to think the same thing on abortion than Democrats. To prove me wrong, please submit an example of a GOP sponsored bill in the House or Senate that relaxes restrictions on abortion, or fights back against those who are trying to restrict it

Anyways, I’m not going to read the rest of your post, its worthless drivel filled with personal shots, so you might as well end it there. I’ve already used up all of the minutes I set aside this month arguing with someone who will never get it. See you in July!

By making them fuck.

And what role does Wormtongue play in them?

Sometimes a joke can be better if it combines two disparate subjects. Maybe they can tie being pro-choice to being pro-environment:

How can a liberal fit the thousands of babies being aborted this hour into their smug ass Prius?

Use a blender

How do they get them out once they arrive at their Lame-O recycling centers?

Use a straw… but not a pipeline! Those loser hippy-crits!

Sorry. I thought this idea was fucked from the beginning, but I read all 3 pages and no one had used these yet, so I had to see it to the end. Or flush out out. Our something.

Let us say, then, “impulsive,” “whimsical,” or “madcap.”
