And given that Bush named his first company “Shrub” in Spanish (“Arbusto”), my feeling is he pretty much stuck himself with that one.
I still prefer “Fuckup-in-Chief,” though. It’s the title he’s earned.

It greatly saddens me that there is still enough of an anti-abortion bloc that it must be pandered to. Really, people? I can easily think of 10 topics of much greater importance to the future of this country. Ugh…

Actually, he was the only one I liked of the bunch( but, then, I am a Kucinich fan…hm). If he were to win the nomination (hah!), I would happily vote for him over any one of the Democratic front runners (that’s saying quite a bit as I am very much a leftist). He seemed to be the only one up there thinking for himself.
Honestly, if the Democratic nominee ends up being Edwards or Obama, I would probably vote for Giuliani over either of them ( I seriously dislike Edwards). I have been very impressed by how he is sticking with the pro-choice stance. I am happy to see someone not McCaining—oops…I mean whoring themselves out to the far right.
After hearing a few interviews, I rather liked Huckabee also. Last night, in general…and the evolution thing specifically…totally killed that sentiment.

No. But I think what **blazed** was being ribbed about wasn’t simply his use of a lame political insult, but his specifically calling attention to it in a subsequent post to emphasize how witty he thought it was. That’s not just lame, that’s aleph-1 lame.

This in itself should exclude them from serious consideration for the presidency. In essence, they were identifying themselves as being stupid. Matthews should’ve followed up by asking them if they believed in dinosaurs, or if they believed that the Earth was round.
