Several Canadian newspapers have reported on their websites that Gordon Lightfoot died last night. Meanwhile, reports are circulating that Lightfoot’s manager denies that Lightfoot is dead. And now the articles are being withdrawn from the news sites. Weird!

Just checked Wiki for fun - they have him as dead, but the newspaper article they have as a cite has been withdrawn.

Really weird. They were doing a whole Gordon Lightfoot bit on the Bob and Tom Show (syndicated radio) this morning … about him being about the only Canadian musician who wasn’t at the opening ceremonies.
