# Got a recipe for cookies that don't lose their shape?

I just got some really cool cookie cutters–a bee and a dragonfly. They’re small and detailed, so I was hoping I could find a recipe for cookies that don’t lose their shape too much. Anyone have a recipe like this? I’m usually too lazy to do cut-out cookies, but they’ll be a lot of fun to decorate.
And if anyone wants to come over for cookies, I’ll probably be baking a lot so I can practice decorating!

Your standard sugar cookie recipe should be good for cookie cutters.

If you like spicy cookies try [spekulatius](http://www2.corvallis.k12.or.us/chs/staff/curtise/spekulatius.htm). This dough retains detail well when used in cookie molds so it ought to work for cutters too. They’re one of my favorites.
