My mother decided this morning to come over and ātrim backā the lilacs while I was not home.
She calls it trim back, I call it slaughter.
I will never get it through her head that this is MY house, not hers. She thinks sheās helping, but sheās not, and I canāt say anything to her.
Well, I could, but then I would suffer the passive aggressive wrath.

But for love of all that is Holy, TAKE A SHOWER! You are in a public place. You are around other people. If nothing else, use a sink and wet towel.
I canāt go to the Walmart in Carmichael Ca anymore. I think its just a place where stinky people congregate.

Apparently my five-year-old hard drive (G:) has decided to crap out with no recent back up. Sure hope it lasts long enough to copy as much as I can to other drives.

Itās that time of the month, and I have cramps. Nasty, not particularly typical for me cramps.
This may be caused by return from vacation, or excessive pop consumption while on vacation or who knows what.
All I know is that I want to quit hurting and quit feeling like pooping is about to be on my agenda.
At least that time of the month didnāt show up until after we got home.

I have a new hard drive but need another SATA cable to copy from the old one. The only store around here that still carries SATA cables is Micro Center and I am not spending ~90 minutes each way for a $6 cable!

Welcome back **Digs** š While you were gone, I had a different shredder guy hiding stuff that he didnāt think should be shredded. Heās been replaced. A lot of people are complaining that their spoons have gone missing. Our dogs had to pee in a swamp because of the flood. That was actually kinda funny to watch.
Now for my rant: The mosquitoes are pretty bad. We have yard sprayers and the trucks have been rumbling down the road, but those assholes are still out there biting anything they can. Our hounds get heartworm meds on a regular basis, but Iām still worried so I put mosquito repellent collars on them. Missy chewed Buttercupās collar off and is now at the vet. Idiot cat. Idiot dog for letting her do that. Idiot me for not thinking about how Buttercupās kitty would react to a stinky collar on her dog.

Do you have standing water in a ditch? Get some of [these](http://www.amazon.com/Summit-111-5-20-Pack-Mosquito-Dunk/dp/B0002568YA)and throw a couple in it. They saved my hide when I lived in Reclaimed Swampville where every house comes with a free drainage ditch behind it.

Screw you, left foot and your neuroma/metatarsal pain combination! Thanks to you I was unable to do things in ballet class today that I could freaking be able to do considering all the years Iāve taken ballet. Yes I know Iām a middle aged lady and a bit overweight, but right foot is cooperating just fine! No, you have to hurt so much I canāt do anything that requires being up on ādemi-pointeā aka up on the ball of the foot on the left side. Which means just about anything in ballet class. :mad:
At least today we did jumps instead of pirouettes. When I got home I took Advil and had a nap. ā¹

No other SATA-equipped components that you can take out of the system long enough to complete the data transfer?

Just C: and I kinda need that. š
Running with G: disabled right now. With it hooked up, booting is slow and shutting down properly is all but impossible unless in Safe Mode. G: is pretty much all games anyway so Iām not too concerned about losing it. Mainly want to make sure my saved games and the folder where I keep all my baseball stuff are safe.
Could boot to Safe Mode and copy that folder and any saved game I can find over to C:, shouldnāt be any problem fitting those in there. New cable was ordered from Staples and should be here Thurs. Will wait until then, boot to Safe Mode with all three drives, and copy as much as I can out of that baseball folder along with my my Steam & GOG libraries, and the folder where all my non-GOG DOS games live.
ETA: even in Safe Mode, G: stops working after a while.

Agh! Watching āHannibalā (lost interest a couple of seasons ago, but DH still likes it), and in closeups of the blind lady petting the tiger, it is SO obvious thatās very fake fur sheās handling! Far as I can tell, they didnāt even TRY to get something halfway realistic!
