# Got my GRE scores back in the mail . . .

For all of you who are nervous about the test, realize that there’s a wide range of value placed on the scores. The most common (at least in the disciplines I’m familiar with) seems to be a cutoff: if your score’s above a certain value, which is often publicized, then they don’t really care exactly what it is. So you don’t have to do exceptionally well, just well enough.
