# Gotham (new show on Fox)

Yeah, it’s just the name really that’s important. If they ever get to the point where he has (or adopts) a daughter, they’re gonna need a really good reason for why he names her after his psycho killer ex.

They…actually capture psycho killer ex, after she’s become a minor supervillain, try to dip her in a Lazarus Pit to cure her insanity, but it accidentally de-ages her to a mind-wiped infant, and Gordon decides to raise her as his own daughter, partially out of guilt?

…hey, we’ve seen _stupider_ comic twists. You gotta give me that.

:eek: I could actually believe they would do this, but I hope they don’t. OTOH, I would love to see the look on Bullock’s face when he found out about this.

Penguin dancing on the rooftop was very like Jimmy Cagney’s character in  
**White Heat** : “Top of the world, Ma! Top of the world!” Of course, that was right before he blew up, and we know Penguin’s going to be around for a long time.

Next year’s supposed to be the Rise of the Riddler. But who’s he going to be outsmarting? Jim Gordon, I guess, but it seems like he’d figure out who was doing it. However, as I think I mentioned in an earlier post, maybe he’ll taunt Penguin or the other evil characters in Gotham. Or maybe Wayne Industries? Actually, _that_ could work. Bruce (maybe with help from Alfred and Selina) could try to figure out the riddling threats to the company. He wouldn’t have to physically fight Nygma.
