Well, that’s it. I now have 34 1/2 hours to find someone to kiss with when the ball drops. If I don’t, this will be the first New Year’s in 10 years that I won’t kiss somebody. And it just wouldn’t be right without it. I can’t start my New Year off this way. This past year has sucked so hard, and if I start the new millenium without kissing somebody, I’m doomed to a thousand years of bad luck I’m sure. That’s like my next 14 lives!! Oh, bother, what am I gonna do? Well I’ve started it, so, lament your New Year’s woes here. ---

Hmmm…I seem to be on the opposite side of the fence as most of y’all. Last year was actually one of the first years that I’ve had a real kiss on New Year’s Eve. This year, though, I’m going to a smaller party, with more couples, so looks like I’ll be drinking alone on the couch when all of the merry couples are making merry. Oh well, c’est la vie! ---

Well, I’m not going to be with my husband this year, so technically, I don’t have anyone to kiss. I’ll be around a lot of folks that I can kiss if I want to, on the cheek, real friendly-like, though. At least they’re really good friends! 😃 ---

Well, until about a half hour ago, it didn’t look like I was doing anything at all for New Year’s Eve. Now that it seems my best friend and his wife are dropping by, my kissing choices are pretty much limited to his wife (_Hmmmm… nah_). That’s alright though. I had a decent run while it lasted and I’ll more than make up for it in 2001.
