# Gotta love those Yankee fans

What a bunch of sore losers…I don’t ever remember seeing the playing field lined with cops before because a bunch of babies can’t stand to see their team lose, or better yet, can’t stand to see their team _not_ get away with cheating. Yet another reason to hate the Yankees. What a disgrace.

Clearly, New York riot officers have a lot to learn about rowdy sports crowds.

British police will tell you- when you’re supposed to be keeping fans off the field, you’re supposed to watch the _stands_, not the game.

Of course, this is pretty much just evidence of the fact that American sports fans are _generally_\* well-behaved.

_raises glass_ Here’s to the Red Sox, the team I don’t really like but aren’t the Yankees.

\*I know, I know, there was that Kansas City father-son coachbeating incident and Steve Bartman needed a dozen police officers just to get out of Wrigley Field alive, but if you’ve ever been to a Dons match you’ll understand.

Well Yankee fans are about the only ones who don’t routinely burn down part of their city when they win these days. I guess it balances out.

Exactly.

It should also be mentioned that this exact incident happened in Boston in 1999.
