If you’ve been paying attention to Youtube at all for the past few months, you know that everybody and their brother/sister/cat/etc. has made an arrangement or parody of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know”. Apparently Gotye has been paying more attention than the rest of us, and has released an arrangement of many of these covers as [“Somebodies: A Youtube Orchestra”](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opg4VGvyi3M). It’s much more interesting than catchy, but it’s definitely worth a listen.

That was really cool.

Was there something about the videos of groups of people playing a single guitar? I see one guy even made a joke about it.

The one with the group playing the guitar was probably the most popular of the covers on YouTube ([Walk Off The Earth](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9NF2edxy-M)), including a [direct parody](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwPHy17Iu6E).

Glad to see that the Pentatonix version was profiled. It was always my favorite.
