The gov. wants the unions and public workers to give back to help the deficits. What have the billionaires given back? What givebacks have corporations given ? Go where the money is. ---

Walkers budget includes a rider permitting him to sell state owned power plants in a “no bid contract”. Koch is in power plants. I wonder if that means anything. I am sure rightys will love it. It wastes so much time getting bids and raising prices. Hell they should just give them away. Koch deserves them for being a fine American billionaire. ---

Goddammit, not all of us voted for him. What did you want the people who didn’t to do – vote more than once? Seriously, knock off this tsk-tsking bullshit. Nearly half the people who voted in the fall election didn’t vote for Walker. He’s our governor until we can recall him in January, and we can fight what he does every step of the way to the best of our abilities until then. No person, regardless of who they voted for, deserves to lose their rights or access to health care or to have polluted water because of one man’s megalomaniacal belief he is the second coming of Ronald Reagan. What does blaming anyone for Walker’s actions achieve? Half the shit he wants to do was not part of his campaign. ---

Kelda Helen Roys (Assemblywoman from the 81st) is reporting that they are currently blocking the public from entering the capitol without a State I.D. or an appointment with a legislator. There have also been reports and pictures that they have bolted the windows of the capitol. From the State Constitution: Article I, §4 – ANNOT. The legislature cannot prohibit an individual from entering the capitol or its grounds. 59 Atty. Gen. 8. Reports have said it is for cleaning, but the cleaning crews came in last night. Apparently some protesters did not move and that they have said theyhave to restrict access until they comply. I am not sure what that has to do with barring entry to the general public (especially since there is a public hearing in room 225NW) and if it is legal, but I’m sure we’ll find out one way or another. ---

I haven’t read the whole thread, and even though I’m sure someone has already posted this link, I’m doing it just in case. I’m absolutely astounded that The Economist would publish something like this. They don’t usually advocate this type of thing. BTW, even though I’m a GM for a large Corp.
