No school district could effectively run that way while providing anything beyond the lowest possible level of education for their students. ---

Here’s how it works- you go to a store, you shell out $5 for “Reading for Dummies”. That WAS your $5. NOW it belongs to the store. From that point on, you don’t have shit to say about it. My public employer and I have agreed on a wage. When they pay me, it WAS public money, but NOW it’s mine. Once it’s in my hands, you don’t get any voice in what happens to it. ---
