I have a debate next weekend, where I have to make a case that the “government is responsible to support essential industries”. I’d like to hear both sides (well, in an economic debate there can be a multiplicity of viewpoints) of the issue so I can come up with a good debate.

Thanks, and fire away!

Repetition will not win the debate.

When government gets involved in essential industries, we get massive redundancies, like…

Oh, I can’t do it. It’s too easy!
