I agree with DIF- it seems that a gas giant that close to the star would have lost its atmosphere. Perhaps it’s quite a young system?

I seem to recall reading about a gas giant that had been spotted at approximately 1 AU from a Sol-like star, and speculation that life as we know it might exist on one of its moons. Has anyone else heard of this, or am I hallucinating?

Mikey, you had better learn where your insults belong – in the Pit, not Great Debates. Folks only get so many warnings before I start deleting things, and you’ve used up a couple now. I suggest that the next time you feel compelled to flame somebody like this, you either take 10 deep breaths and calm down, or you go to the Pit.
