Jaysus, that’s only about a 2hr trip usually. It wasn’t a huge problem, but recently on a trip to Galway, a straight run on motorways across the country from Dublin, we got lost having stopped in a small town to pick up supplies. The GPS didn’t start telling us we were off the plotted course until we were a good five miles down the wrong road.
Just today, while driving:
123 Oak Glen Road, Hooterville.
GPS sent me to:
123 Oak Forest Drive, Pixley
(addresses made up, obviously).
Actually, this is apparently a problem with Google Maps instead of the GPS itself… as the EXACT same error occurred on my Android, my iPod Touch, and Google Maps on the web on the desktop computer.
Yeah, I’ve reported it. I’ll never get those 45 minutes back, however.
