I’m putting together a Music & TV trivia night, and one category I’d like to try is “Guess the TV show from the theme song”

I’ve got a pretty good collection of TV series on DVD, so if I ripped down an episode onto the PC, anyone have any suggestions for how I could extract an mp3/wav file of the audio from the video file?

Cheers

I used [Audacity](http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) to record the audio from one of my concert DVDs.

If you already have VLC, it will do that. Look for the “convert” menu.

Thanks. This is an easy way to do it.
