“I love grils” “Grils” was then crossed out and changed to “girls”, to which a later person had added: “What’s wrong with us grils?” ---

On the sloped roof of an old industrial building near M&T Bank Stadium (in Baltimore): FAT CHICKS ROCK Causes quite a bit of amusement among fans walking to the Ravens game. (Actually, it may say “rule” instead of “rock,” or something to that effect. I meant to snap a picture last time I was there, but I left my camera in the car.) ---

The elevator in the art building at UW is covered in graffiti–most of it pretty funny. But my favorite is a little note that says “This is why we can’t have nice things.” ---

Once the kids and I were sitting in the car at a railroad crossing, just gazing at the train as it passed, when suddenly, a boxcar appeared with a picture of a demon displaying his middle finger. It was so unexpected that we all just turned to each other with our mouths dropping open in shock, then burst into laughter. I always wondered what the artist would think if he ever knew what joy he had given to his fellow man with that painting. ---

Scribbled in the men’s room stall of “Broadway Joe’s” bar - Buffalo, NY (early 1990s): **"Reality is for people who can’t handle drugs!"** Seen above the urinal in the men’s room of “the Phoenix” - East Village of NYC, NY (late 1990s): **You’re the load of cum your mother should have swallowed!"** Seen in the men’s room stall of the University of Buffalo (main street campus) theater dept., late 1980s: **"Molly Brown, Molly Brown, No one claimed to lay her down. Then over the hills came Piss-pott Pete, With 20lbs of swinging meat. Pete fucked Molly in the ass. Then Molly passed one hell of a gas. And over the hills flew Piss-pot Pete, with 20lbs of shredded meat."** Seen on a scrawled on a bridge somewhere in Buffalo, NY (forget just where), early 1980s: **"Elvis Costello is GOD!"** Scrawled just below the aforementioned bit: **"Oh my Elvis Costello!"** ---
