For those who have not watched [this show](http://gravityfalls.wikia.com/wiki/Gravity_Falls_(TV_series)), it is a cartoon on Disney that is one of the good ones. Odd, smart, dense with background jokes … one of the shows that works at many levels, that I watching knowing it is smarter than I am, that I am missing a bunch of references, but what I do get is still a lot of fun. Anyway Season Two finally [premiered](http://www.avclub.com/tvclub/gravity-falls-scary-oke-207693) (warning, spoilers at link) and I am happy. Yea! ---

I’m a nearly sixty year old adult and I like this cartoon. Most modern cartoons or kids shows seem to me to be dreadful, but the OP is right, this one is good. I also like _Phineas and Ferb_, and aspire to eliminate Dr. Doofenshmurtz and rule the tri-state area myself. ---

One of a handful of cartoons that I share with my kids and really enjoy. Like “Phineas and Ferb”, and “The Penguins of Madagascar”, I’ll continue watching the show if my kids leave the room because of the great writing. I think my daughter wants to cosplay as Wendy this fall. I wish this show had a ton of $$ thrown at it so that it would would have a bunch of episodes come our way.
