I think anyone in the U.S. or otherwise familiar with the Discovery Institute’s attempt to get intelligent design in the classroom read it as a joke. It didn’t cross my mind that those magic words didn’t mean the same thing everywhere until I saw **Francis Vaughan’s** post.

Some of those are quite lovely. I like the classical periodic table best of all, I think.
A couple of them though, I could see creationists accidentally buying and wearing in complete earnest.
