Another article in the NYTimes about Wilson and his legacy at Princeton. A historian discusses an idea where Wilson’s name is retained, but a monument is built to speak to the issues of racism and segregation right next to/outside it. The historian comments that “The important thing is to write segregation and race into the story, not write racists out of it.” ---

He apparently decided that Tommy was too childish when he was in college and started going by his middle name, which he felt sounded more adult. ---
