The GBBF runs from Wednesday August 6 thru Saturday August 9, is anybody up for a mini-fest? I’ll be there with friends from about noon on Wednesday, but I’ve bought an “all sessions” ticket and booked the week off work, so I could meet up at any time. for some reason my work’s nanny filter blocks the CAMRA website - i have a sneaking feeling that my IS Department must all be fosters drinkers. Bastards. If we are going to meet there then i’ll just take whichever day is decided on off of work too. ---

Well you are more than welcome to the other guest room at my parents place (i’m currently inhabiting one of them) Knowing them you’d probably even get the one with the ensuite toilet. Bastards. will mean a train-ride back to stevenage after drinks though. ---

last euston - Birmingham train is normally about 11:45pm (although my rail planner program “handily” suggests that you could get on a train to milton keynes at 1:20AM, then wait three hours for a train from there to brum - finally arriving about 7:20am!.) last kings cross - stevenage is 1:30am Its up to you. Whichever day you get off (if you can get any of them!) i’ll match. ---

Well, I’m definitely going to be there on Wedesday from around opening time. This is the first year they’ve done all day opening on Wednesday and Thursday, before they always kicked us out around 3:00. I really like the mid-day mid-week sessions, as it’s never too crowded. I’ve got a ticket for all the sessions, so if Wednesday doesn’t work for some I can always come back. ---

Getting a ticket on the door shouldn’t be a problem, you’ll just have to get in the longer queue. We could use phones to link up, or meet at the big red bus. Olympia is big enough that a red double decker bus (owned by Shepherd Neame) fits comfortably in one corner. ---
