The [Great British Beer Festival](http://gbbf.camra.org.uk/home) is now on, running from today until Saturday at Earls Court. Something like 500 real ales, ciders, perries, and foreign beers to try. A few of us are going to be there Saturday from around noon onward so if anyone wants to join us send me a PM and I’ll give you my mobile number. ---

It was lovely, thank you! The afternoon is always very relaxed and friendly. I’m not in trade myself, but many of my friends own or manage pubs, and there are usually one or two spare passes going. I was pleased to get to try the Champion Beer (Mighty Oak Oscar Wilde Mild), which was really tasty and I heard sold out quite early. Mmmmm. Anybody else gone?
