I once saw this in a list of ‘things children said’, so I don’t have anyone to attribute it to other than to say the source stated it was from a five year old boy. But it stuck with me, so I’m going to share it.

“When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth.”
