In honor of that best-est of all summer holidays - Gay Pride - I thought I’d start a thread about drag queens. 'Cuz…well why the hell not? Any way, what’s your favorite drag names? [/QUOTE] If your talking about a “Gay Pride Parade”, then no, it is not a NYC event only. San Francisco has a big one, and many other cities have their own, too, with smaller numbers of participants. (I know San Diego has one every year.) ---

Yes, I knew that many cities have Gay Pride events, but I hadn’t remembered the significance of the date. I have heard of Stonewall, but hadn’t put the date and the event together. Now I remember. Thanks. (So is the parade always June 28, or is it the Saturday closest to June 28?) ---
